Delivery areas

We currently deliver throughout the United Kingdom, including England, Wales, Scotland (including the Scottish Highlands and Islands), Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. The delivery options available for your address will be shown during checkout.

Delivery availability may depend on:

• The delivery postcode
• The products being ordered
• The parcel size and weight
• Courier-service availability
• Legal or operational restrictions

Our standard delivery network currently includes:

• England
• Wales
• Scotland, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands
• Northern Ireland
• Isle of Wight
• Isle of Man
• Channel Islands

The delivery services available for your particular address will be displayed during checkout.

International delivery

Unless the website expressly offers an international delivery option, orders can only be accepted for delivery within the areas shown at checkout.

We do not accept responsibility for a parcel forwarded internationally by a customer or recipient after it has been delivered to the address supplied to us.

Delivery charges

Delivery charges are calculated according to the delivery option, order value and destination shown at checkout.

Our normal delivery charges are:

The final delivery charge payable will be shown before you submit the order.

Delivery promotions

We may occasionally offer free or reduced-price delivery under a separate promotion.

Any minimum spend, expiry date, product exclusion or other condition will be stated with the offer.

Refunds affecting a delivery threshold

Where products are cancelled or returned and the remaining order would no longer have qualified for a promotional delivery threshold, we will not retrospectively add a delivery charge unless this was clearly stated as a condition of the promotion and is permitted by law.

Dispatch and estimated delivery times

We aim to prepare and dispatch orders promptly after they have been accepted and payment and verification checks have been completed.

Orders placed before 2pm

Orders placed before 2pm from Monday to Friday will normally be prepared for dispatch that working day, subject to:

• Stock availability
• Successful payment authorisation
• Completion of any necessary security checks
• The order not containing a later-release or pre-order item
• The courier collection operating normally

Orders placed after 2pm

Orders placed after 2pm, at weekends or on public holidays will normally be processed on the next working day.

Delivery times are calculated from dispatch rather than from the moment the order is submitted.

Working days

A working day means Monday to Friday, excluding public and bank holidays in the relevant area.

Orders placed near Christmas, Easter or another public holiday may take longer because of reduced warehouse, courier or transport operations.

Delivery deadlines and time-sensitive orders

We will deliver the products without undue delay and, unless another period has been agreed, within 30 days after the contract is formed.

The shorter delivery estimates shown by Brewtique are our normal service aims and do not replace your legal rights if delivery is substantially delayed.

Orders required for a particular occasion

Please allow sufficient time when ordering for:

• A birthday
• Mother's Day
• Father's Day
• Christmas or another seasonal occasion
• An anniversary
• A party, celebration or gathering
• A holiday, trip or other fixed date

Entering an occasion date within an order note does not make that date a guaranteed contractual delivery deadline unless we expressly confirm that it has been accepted as such.

Please contact us before ordering where delivery by a particular date is essential.

Essential delivery dates

Where we expressly agree that delivery by a particular date is essential and we fail to deliver by that date, you may have the right to end the contract immediately.

In other cases, you may ask us to deliver within an appropriate additional period. If we do not deliver within that additional period, you may then have the right to cancel the affected order.

How delivery is completed

Delivery is completed when the parcel is handed to:

• You
• The named recipient
• Another person at the delivery address who is authorised and legally permitted to accept it

Alcohol will only be delivered where the delivery partner is satisfied that it can be handed over lawfully.

Courier tracking

Where available, tracking information will be sent using the email address or telephone number supplied with the order.

Tracking information is provided by the delivery partner and may not always update immediately or in real time.

Delivery instructions

You may provide reasonable delivery instructions, but we cannot guarantee that every instruction will be followed.

A courier may disregard an instruction where it:

• Would be unsafe
• Would expose the parcel to theft or damage
• Conflicts with alcohol-delivery requirements
• Requires access that is not reasonably available
• Is contrary to the courier’s operating policy
• Would breach a legal obligation

Delivery to a neighbour

A parcel may only be delivered to a neighbour where this is permitted by the courier, consistent with your instructions and compatible with any required age verification.

The neighbour accepting an alcohol parcel must also be aged 18 or over and may be required to provide proof of age.

Safe-place requests and unattended delivery

Alcohol parcels should not be left unattended where doing so would prevent appropriate age verification or otherwise breach the delivery partner’s rules.

A request to leave a parcel:

• On a doorstep
• Behind a bin
• In a shed or porch
• At another unattended location

may be refused or ignored where the order contains alcohol.

A note placed on a door or an instruction entered into a courier application does not remove the requirement for the delivery to be completed lawfully.

Unsuccessful delivery attempts

A delivery attempt may be unsuccessful where:

• No eligible adult is available
• Proof of age cannot be provided when requested
• The recipient refuses the parcel
• The address is incorrect or incomplete
• The property cannot be accessed safely
• The courier cannot identify the delivery location
• The delivery would otherwise be unlawful

The courier may:

• Attempt delivery again
• Ask the recipient to rearrange delivery
• Hold the parcel temporarily at a depot or collection point
• Return the parcel to us

Rearranging delivery

You or the recipient should follow the courier’s instructions promptly when a delivery attempt is unsuccessful.

We cannot guarantee how long the courier will hold a parcel before returning it.

Orders returned to us

Where an order is returned because:

• An incorrect address was supplied
• No eligible recipient was available
• The parcel was not collected or rearranged
• Age verification could not be completed
• The recipient refused a correctly supplied order

we will contact you to discuss redelivery or cancellation.

We may ask you to pay the reasonable cost of redelivery where the failed delivery was caused by information or circumstances within your or the recipient’s control.

We will not charge a redelivery fee where the failure was caused by us or our delivery partner.

Delivery delays

Please check the courier tracking information first where an order has not arrived within the expected timeframe.

Contact us if:

• The tracking information has not updated for an unusual period
• The parcel is shown as delivered but cannot be found
• The courier reports a problem with the address
• The parcel appears to have been lost
• The order is required by an agreed essential deadline

Investigating a delayed parcel

We may need to contact the courier and allow it a reasonable opportunity to investigate the parcel’s location.

We remain responsible for fulfilling the delivery contract. You should contact Brewtique rather than being required to resolve the claim directly with the courier.

Lost parcels

Where a parcel is confirmed as lost, we will normally offer:

• A replacement, subject to availability
• A refund for the affected products and delivery charge

We may ask you to confirm in writing that the parcel has not been received and to provide reasonable assistance with the courier investigation.

This will not unreasonably delay a remedy where the available evidence shows that the parcel has been lost.

Parcels marked as delivered but not received

Please contact us promptly where courier tracking states that a parcel has been delivered but you or the recipient cannot locate it.

Before contacting us, it may help to check:

• Whether another eligible person at the address accepted it
• Whether the courier left a delivery photograph or note
• Whether the parcel was taken to an authorised neighbour
• Whether the delivery address on the order is correct
• Whether the courier has provided further tracking details

We will ask the courier to investigate and may request information reasonably needed to locate the parcel.

A tracking status alone will not automatically prevent a claim where the parcel was not actually delivered to you, the recipient or another person authorised to accept it.

Checking your delivery

Please inspect the parcel and its contents as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Check that:

• The outer parcel is not seriously damaged
• The correct products have been supplied
• The expected number of items is present
• Bottles, cans and containers are intact
• Any gift packaging is substantially as described
• There are no signs of leakage or contamination

Prompt notification helps us investigate a problem and arrange an appropriate remedy.

A failure to report a problem immediately does not remove statutory rights that remain available to you.

Damaged products and breakages

Please do not consume a product where its bottle, can, seal or other packaging is broken, leaking, contaminated or unsafe.

Contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide:

• Your order number
• A description of the damage
• The name and quantity of the affected products
• Clear photographs of the damaged product
• Photographs of the inner and outer packaging
• Any courier label or visible parcel damage

Why photographs are requested

Photographs help us:

• Assess the damage promptly
• Identify which products are affected
• Improve future packaging
• Raise a claim with the courier where appropriate
• Avoid requiring unsafe broken goods to be returned

We may ask you to retain the damaged product and packaging for a reasonable period while the matter is investigated.

Please dispose of broken glass safely where keeping it would create a hazard.

Available remedies

Depending on the circumstances and product availability, we may offer:

• A replacement for the damaged product
• A refund for the affected product
• A replacement for the complete set where appropriate
• Another remedy agreed with you

We will not charge you for replacing or refunding products damaged before responsibility for them passed to you.

Missing, incomplete or incorrect orders

Please contact us promptly where:

• An item listed in the order is missing
• The wrong product has been supplied
• The wrong quantity has been supplied
• A gift set is incomplete
• The supplied product is materially different from its description

We may ask for photographs of:

• The products received
• The product labels
• The packing materials
• The delivery label

Where we have supplied the wrong product, we will arrange an appropriate remedy at no additional cost to you.

We may ask you to make an incorrectly supplied product available for collection or return, but we will pay the reasonable return cost.

Curated selections

A different individual drink within a product expressly sold as a mixed or curated selection will not be treated as an incorrect product merely because it differs from an example photograph, provided that it remains consistent with the selection ordered.

Faulty or misdescribed products

We have a legal duty to supply products that conform to the contract.

Products supplied to consumers must meet the standards required by law, including being:

• As described
• Of satisfactory quality
• Fit for a particular purpose made known to us where the relevant legal requirements are satisfied

Nothing in these terms limits the remedies available where a product fails to meet those standards.

Short-term right to reject

You will normally have a legal right to reject goods that do not conform to the contract within 30 days of delivery and receive a refund, subject to the applicable legal conditions.

Repair or replacement

After the short-term right to reject has ended, you may be entitled to require a repair or replacement.

For products such as drinks, food items or damaged gift contents, repair may not be practical. A replacement or refund may therefore be the more appropriate remedy.

Further remedies

Where a repair or replacement is unavailable, impossible, unsuccessful or cannot be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction or final right to reject.

Your right to cancel an online order

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, you may cancel an online purchase without giving a reason.

The cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day on which:

• You receive the products
• The named recipient receives the products
• Another person identified by you, other than the courier, receives the products

Where one order is delivered in separate parcels or on different days, the cancellation period will normally run from the day after the final parcel or item is received.

How to cancel

You must tell us clearly that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period expires.

Please provide:

• Your name
• Your order number
• The products you wish to cancel
• The date the products were received
• A clear statement that you are cancelling the contract

You do not have to use any particular wording, provided your decision to cancel is clear.

Cancelling before dispatch

Contact us immediately where you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched.

Where we can stop the order before dispatch, no return will be required.

If the parcel has already entered the delivery process, you may need to receive or refuse it and follow the returns procedure.

Exceptions to the change-of-mind cancellation right

The statutory cancellation right may not apply, or may be lost, in circumstances permitted by law.

Examples may include:

• Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised
• Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
• Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed
• Goods that have become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery

Personalised gift products

A product is not necessarily personalised merely because a removable gift message has been included.

However, the cancellation right may not apply to an item that has been specially produced, printed, engraved or permanently altered using wording or specifications supplied by you.

Opened drinks

Opening a bottle or can may make the product unsuitable for resale and may substantially reduce its value.

This does not affect your rights where the product is faulty, contaminated, unsafe or not as described.

Returning products after cancellation

After telling us that you wish to cancel, you must send the affected products back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating your cancellation.

Please contact us before returning an order so that we can:

• Confirm the correct return address
• Identify the products being returned
• Provide any necessary packing guidance
• Help prevent the return from being lost or delayed

Return address

Unless we provide different instructions, returns should be sent to:

Packaging returned products

You are responsible for taking reasonable care when packing products for return.

Bottles, cans and gift items should be:

• Securely sealed
• Protected against movement and impact
• Packed in a strong outer box
• Returned using packaging suitable for fragile liquids
• Clearly addressed

Original transit packaging should be used where it remains suitable, but you are not required to use it where another secure method is available.

Proof of return

We recommend using a tracked or otherwise evidenced return service and keeping the receipt until the return has been completed.

Who pays the return cost?

Change-of-mind returns

Where you exercise a statutory cancellation right because you have changed your mind, you are normally responsible for the direct cost of returning the products to us.

This applies unless:

• We agree to pay the return cost
• We failed to tell you in advance that you would be responsible
• The products cannot normally be returned by post and we did not provide the required cost information
• The law otherwise requires us to pay

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

We will pay the reasonable return cost where products are:

• Faulty
• Damaged before delivery was completed
• Incorrectly supplied
• Materially different from their description

Please contact us before arranging the return so that we can provide an appropriate return method.

We may not reimburse an unnecessarily expensive return method where a reasonable suitable alternative was offered.

Handling products before a change-of-mind return

You may inspect products to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and condition, in a similar way to how you could inspect goods in a shop.

You should not:

• Consume a product
• Open bottles, cans or sealed drink containers
• Remove or damage product labels
• Break seals unnecessarily
• Use or remove parts of a gift set
• Return an incomplete mixed case
• Damage presentation packaging unnecessarily

We may reduce a change-of-mind refund to reflect a loss in value caused by handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect the product.

Any deduction will reflect the actual reduction in value and will not be used as an automatic penalty.

Complete gift sets

Where products were sold together as one gift set, case or combined product, all components should normally be returned together.

A deduction may be made where part of a combined product is missing, used or damaged and this reduces the value of the returned set.

Refunds following cancellation

Where you validly cancel the complete order, we will refund:

• The price paid for the cancelled products
• The standard outbound delivery charge paid for the order, where required by law

Enhanced delivery services

Where you selected a more expensive delivery method than our least expensive standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional cost of that enhanced service.

Partial cancellations

Where only part of an order is cancelled, the amount of any delivery refund will depend on whether the delivery charge would have been the same for the products retained.

When the refund will be issued

We will make the refund without undue delay and normally no later than 14 days after:

• The day we receive the returned products
• The day you provide evidence that the products have been sent back, if earlier

Where no products were dispatched, the refund will normally be made within 14 days after we are informed of the cancellation.

Our usual operational aim is to process an approved refund within seven days after receiving and checking the return.

Refund method

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless:

• You expressly agree to another method
• The original payment method cannot accept the refund
• A different method is otherwise permitted by law

We will not charge a fee for issuing a required refund.

Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refunded amount after we have processed it.

Refunds for faulty, damaged or incorrect products

Where a refund is due because products are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied, the refund will include:

• The appropriate price paid for the affected products
• Any applicable outbound delivery amount required by law
• Reasonable return costs where a return is necessary

We may offer a replacement instead of a refund where this is an appropriate legal remedy and is acceptable in the circumstances.

You do not have to accept store credit or a discount code in place of a refund where you are legally entitled to receive money back.

Proof of purchase

We may ask for reasonable proof that the products were purchased from Brewtique.

This could include:

• An order number
• An order-confirmation email
• A bank or payment record
• Other evidence reasonably linking the products to the order

Gift returns and refunds

The purchase contract is normally between Brewtique and the person who placed and paid for the order.

A refund will therefore normally be issued:

• To the original purchaser
• Using the original payment method

A gift recipient should contact the purchaser where they wish to arrange a change-of-mind return.

We may communicate directly with a recipient regarding:

• A damaged parcel
• A missing product
• A delivery issue
• An immediate product-safety concern

We may need the purchaser’s authority before disclosing payment details, changing an order or processing a refund.

Payment disputes and chargebacks

Please contact us first where you do not recognise a payment or believe that an order has not been correctly fulfilled.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

This does not remove any right you may have to contact your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Where a chargeback or payment dispute is raised, we may provide the payment provider with information reasonably required to respond, including:

• Order details
• Payment and verification records
• Dispatch and tracking information
• Delivery evidence
• Relevant customer communications
